Described as the “greatest American play ever written,” this story follows the members of the small town of Grover’s Corner through three acts: Daily Life, Love and Marriage and Death and Eternity. Narrated by a stage manager and performed with minimal props and sets, audiences follow the Webb and Gibbs families as their children fall in love, marry and eventually – in one of the most famous scenes in American theatre – die. Performed by the Averitt Stars community theatre troup and Directed by the Averitt’s Jackie Gordon.

Retired art professor Bunyan Morris leads a hands-on workshop (the first of several) which focus on different elements of art. Emphasis in this class will be based on how LINE can be used in design.
