Physical and mental health needs are met in Bulloch County through organizations and individuals representing a broad continuum of care through both public and private models.

The community's largest provider is East Georgia Regional Medical Center, a 150-bed acute care facility accredited by Joint Commission. The Fair Road campus includes a main facility and medical office building housing rehabilitation services, wound care and several of many affiliated physician practices. The main facility opened in July 2000 and features all private rooms, a Women's Pavilion for ob/gyn and neonatal care, and outpatient services such as radiology, laboratory and respiratory care. The facility has dedicated intensive care and pediatric units. Physicians with privileges at East Georgia Regional Medical Center represent both primary care (family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics and ob/gyn) as well as such specialties as cardiology, gastroenterology, otolaryngology (ENT), neurology, general surgery (including subspecialties), neurology, orthopedics, pulmonology and urology.

Additional healthcare and related providers represent assisted living, extended care, home health, hospice, rehabilitation and urgent care. Many of these organziations can be located using the Chamber of Commerce's member listing located within this website.
