Bulloch County: 
According to the 2010 census, Bulloch County had a population of 71,217.  Bulloch County’s growth rate makes it the 27th fastest growing county in the United States.  We are also the third most populous county in the Coastal Georgia region behind Chatham County and Glynn County.  People are realizing the benefits of locating in Bulloch County, and our recent population growth is reflecting that benefit. Bulloch County has seven commissioners serving each district within the county.  Tax revenues collected by the county are used to make Bulloch County  First in Safety and Service.  
The role of Bulloch County Government including but not limited to the following:
  • Bulloch County Fire Department – with 150 trained Volunteer Firemen
  • Bulloch County Sheriff’s Department – patrols nearly 1200 miles of roadway
  • Bulloch County E-911 Center – Serving Bulloch, Candler, and Evans Counties
  • Keep Bulloch Beautiful – Beautifying Bulloch County by educating our citizens
  • Bulloch County Jail – Housing 400 inmates 
  • Bulloch County Correctional Facility – over 330,000 inmate labor hours saving the Bulloch County over $1 million 
  • Bulloch County Planning, Zoning, and Building Inspection – Promoting growth, development, and preservation of Bulloch County
  • Bulloch County Health Department
  • Bulloch County Recreation Department – Providing quality recreation services through after school and athletic programs
  • Bulloch County Center for Agriculture
