The Bulloch County Board of Commissioners is comprised of a chairman and county commissioners representing each of six districts. The group meets in the North Main Annex Building at 115 North Main Street in downtown Statesboro on the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. and the third Tuesday of the month at 8:30 a.m.

The city's government includes a mayor and city council menbers representing each of five districts. These meetings are on the 2nd floor of City Hall, located at 50 East Main Street, on the first Tuesday of the month at 9 a.m. and the third Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. 

 State representatives in the House whose districts include portions of Bulloch County are Butch Parrish (District 156), Jon Burns (District 157) and Jan Tankersley (District 158) . Representing the area in the State Senate is Jack Hill (District 4).

The Chamber of Commerce's Government Operations committee serves as liaison for Chamber member industries and businesses who have legislative agendas at the city, county and state levels. The committee helps identify, develop and advocate for business and industry via legislative agenda that is synergistic with local community development plans and other factors such as transportation, public education, arts/culture and the environment.

The Chamber's encourages government involvement in areas that will enhance our community's ability to remain competitive.
