An impressive recreation department features 8 parks with Mill Creek Regional Park being the center piece.  Mill Creek Regional Park features 155 acres of parkland, 15 lighted baseball/softball fields, 7 soccer/football fields, 2 playgrounds, 1.25 walking trail with lights, 9 picnic pavilions, 8 restrooms and one lake.  Mill Creek offers something for all outdoor enthusiasts!  The Statesboro-Bulloch County Parks and Recreation Department offers many programs for the community to participate in.  Also, there are a multitude of athletic programs for children and adults to join.  Bulloch County is also home to Splash in the 'Boro. This family friendly water park brings thousands to Statesboro each year.  There are several walking and biking trails throughout the community.  The Willie McTell Trails runs through Downtown Statesboro and connects Georgia Southern University to the city center.  The newest addition is the S & S Greenway.  This 8 mile trail will run from Statesboro to Downtown Brooklet.  Below you will find links to the Recreation Department, Splash in the 'Boro, and the Greenway Master Plan.
